Philosophy of Sohui Design

       人类总是时常回顾过去，大到探索整个生命的起源，小到回忆个人成长的片段，只因人类对未来世界的无知与好奇。当下的感官误导了我们对事物的真正认识，探寻本源会让我们重新理解事物的意义。创想未来、创新事物，需要我们把开始时间从当下再往前推移一点。

       We are always reviewing the past----from exploring the origin of life to recollecting stories of personal growth, all because of our ignorance and curiosity of the future world. Immediate senses tend to mislead us about the nature of things, while the exploration of the origin ensures the true understanding. So we need to go backward a little in imagination and innovation.

       溯洄从之，道阻且长。我们一直将此铭刻于心，正因为我们的职业是产品设计师，是创想未来者，是创造新生事物者。

       “I go up the stream in quest of her，but the way is difficult and long”, the saying has been echoing in our minds, because we are product designers and creators to think about the future and to create the new.

       我们的工作就是创造物品的界面。物品的准确功能、用者的心灵与感官体验，都应由该界面真实的反映与匹配。而要做到准确与真实，我们需要真正了解该物品的本源含义。这注定了我们要用更多的时间回顾过去、去纠正我们对物品当下状态的误解。我们所追求的创新、美、易用、节制都从此出发。

       Our job is to create the interface of things, which should be a true reflection of their accurate functions and a perfect match with users’ senses and feelings. The goal of the accuracy and the perfection requires that we put the original interpretations on the items, which will definitely take us more time to review the past and to correct the misunderstanding of the present state. Right from this derives our pursuit of innovation, beauty, suitableness and moderation.

       这是一项特殊的事业，溯洄已从事9年。

      This is a special career, and Sohui has been engaged for nine years.
